“Gujrat riots:anatomy of coverup” by Rana ayyu
I just happened to complete the book “Gujrat riots:
anatomy of coverup” by an avant-garde writer and columnist Rana Ayyub.
I must confess; I have had a lot of epiphanic moments during its perusal about how I view the history.
I now feel that I had blinkers on my eyes so far because I had heard, only through grapevine , about stories of Gujrat riots.
This book gives you a panoptic view into the happenings of Gujrat: The shear collusion of hordes of people including the “kahanu’s of then Gujrat politics” ; the government officials and lot more.
I am hard up of words to express my amazement at her perseverance, deligence and rank finesse that she exhibited while acting as an undercover agent.
Kudos to her.
Being your protege, in strengthening one’s character, in fighting against injustice, would be an honour and interviewing you one day would be a complete blessing for me.
